If you need a particular product for a specific purpose, you are welcome
to phone the shop nearest to you to check whether your choice is available.
Otherwise, if you call at the shop, you will always find similar items
that may prove to be suitable for your menu requirements. In addition
to products normally found on supermarket shelves, Sara Lee Factory
Outlets
also offer a wide range of Catering sized products suitable for functions
and special events. Typical of these products is the Sara Lee Create-a-Cake:
a large “slab cake”, vanilla flavour with white icing which serves as
a base for edible decals which may be purchased from a wide range of themes
covering birthdays, anniversaries and other congratulatory occasions.
From
time to time, products that are surplus to export requirements are offered.
Although the packaging of these items may carry Asian or Middle Eastern
labelling, most of these items are similar to Local equivalents and in
many cases are perfect stock.

of the reasons for products failing to meet to the extremely high quality
standards of Sara Lee’s First Grade products are:

best eating quality will be discounted to accelerate clearance. It is
expected that most products offered for sale, although “not-quite-perfect”,
will still be delicious to eat and therefore great value for what you
pay. The discounted prices
of everything offered for sale takes into account “not-quite-perfect”
quality factors.
